Edinburgh University Politics Society have invited Ron Prosor, Israel’s ambassador to the UK, to speak at Edinburgh University campus this semester. Students for Justice in Palestine believe that by welcoming a mouthpiece of Israeli apartheid and ethnic cleansing to our University campus, the Politics Society make themselves complicit in the whitewashing of the suffering of the Palestinian people.

We are hosting Yahav Zohar, a young, dynamic, Israeli, involved in activism against the occupation of Palestine. Among many other activities on the ground, Yahav leads political tours around Jerusalem for the Israeli Committee against House Demolitions.
Edinburgh University Students for Justice in Palestine have organised a host of exciting and informative events as we join International Right to Education Week 2010. The Right to Education week aims to mobilise and strenghtnen partnerships between UK and Palestinian students bodies in order to highlights the severity of the situation in occupied Palestine, as well as build a solidarity movement that can begin to strategically challenge the prevelant injustices faced by Palestinian students.
